The Crow Road

Your murderous factory made me think.
Fossilised pear and a twisted link.
Coma bridge and book stacked walls.
Walking on glass until one falls.

One way trip baby, watch your life unfold.
No U turns baby, you’re on The Crow Road.

Minions in masks on Espedair Street,
dodge alien spy hubcaps and burning sheep.
Follow the stars to your new hands and feet.
Dead birds foretell and the telephone beeps.

One way trip baby, let your life unfold.
No U turns baby, you’re on The Crow Road.

Crazy families with secrets unmatched.
Grotesque worlds and a door left unlatched.
Could you send me match-book from every bar,
just to let me know – that you are!

One way trip baby, how’d your life unfold
No U turns baby, at the end of The Crow Road.
