Dora Wright

Poem without a Rhyme

A poem without a rhyme
is like a clock without a chime
a dance without a tune
romance without a moon

A poem without a rhyme
is like a gin without a lime
a Mutt without a Jeff
a right without a left

A poem without a rhyme
is like a gambler without a dime
its strawberries without cream
to sleep without a dream

A poem without rhyme
…….is a story

I quite agree Dora, but I still end up writing non-rhyming ones sometimes!
