An Akron, Ohio Kind of Day

Right here, a heaven in disguise
right now, a moment singular
everything smells incense, and reciprocates
the silent celebration of one-ness.
and here I am
translated to everything without
that neon lights blue,
those bar codes
on the 40 ounces of colt-45
and that shiny cheap jacket she is wearing.
fuck ! I am the only one
undivine and finite,
walking on the holy streets of East Avenue.
